You can help make a difference for those in need by dropping off canned goods to be distributed during Dine and Connect.

Not everyone is able to join Dine and Connect in person, but there is still a desire to share resources with others, especially food. Your contribution of canned goods can make a difference in someone's life.
You can drop off items in the church lobby on Sunday morning during service on Feb 1 and Mar. 1, which are the Sundays before Dine and Connect.  You will see a marked box there.

Whether you are new to New Bridges UMC or a long-time member looking to reconnect with the roots of our faith, this class is for you. Over four weeks, we will explore the theology, history, and heart of the United Methodist Church and what it looks like to live out our vows of prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness through our church in our local community and beyond.

The sessions will be held in-person, but you can request to participate online based on your needs. If you miss one of the session, you will be provided a recording to make up the session.

Are you interested in learning about Small Groups at New Bridges UMC and maybe even facilitating one? Join Pastor Jaekuk for a 3-part workshop designed to equip both current and prospective Small Group leaders. We will cover the vision of Small Group Ministry at New Bridges, practical tools for facilitation, and how to foster authentic community. Help us build a church where everyone is known and cared for.

To guide our journey and ensure we live out God's call, we're focusing on building our ministry teams—the pillars of our shared life and mission. This Sunday we will take a moment in worship to prayerfully nominate people who we believe are called to bring their wonderful gifts to the ministry of our beloved church.

You can submit your nominations early with the form below.

Every first Monday of each month we gather to serve our community.
We serve over 130 meals every month and there are many ways you can help with this ministry. You can sign up to serve in various roles between 12:00pm and 4:30pm.

If you don't have time to volunteer but still want to contribute, please consider dropping of canned goods to NBUMC on Sunday, February 1st or Sunday, March 1st so that they can be shared with folks in need. You will find a box of items in the foyer of the church as you enter. 

We invite you to prayerfully consider how God is calling us to be financial partners in the ministry of our church. As a church, we are called to span the gap between the needs of our community and the love of Christ. In this season, we will reflect on how our collective generosity sustains the vital ministries of New Bridges UMC—from our Sunday worship to our outreach.
